to ensure regulatory compliance. ASHI programs have been reviewed, accepted, approved or have satisfied the requirements of
numerous state and federal agencies, which include:

on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) •CECBEMS (Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency

Regulatory Environment
ASHI works on a regular and ongoing basis with federal,
state, and local authorities to ensure regulatory compliance. ASHI programs have been reviewed by an/or satisfy the requirements
of the Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (DOL/OSHA) and Department of Homeland Security,
United States Coast Guard (DHS/USCG). ASHI programs are also recognized, endorsed, accepted or approved by state regulatory
agencies, including those liscensing Emergency Medical Services, child care, education, public health, labor and others. Additionally,
ASHI programs have been found acceptable for meeting requirements established by a wide variety of professional associations,
councils, academies and boards.
